Newton Abbot Leisure Centre has officially opened its new Dymensions crèche which relocated to another area so it can offer youngsters a whole lot more fun and games.

Dymensions offers two spacious rooms specifically designed for children and babies.  The rooms are bright and colourful with age appropriate toys and play equipment in each area.  Along with a wide selection of play equipment, children also have the opportunity to participate in daily arts and craft activities, singing and dancing sessions.

The move has meant the leisure centre has been able to create an exercise room specifically for x-biking and rowing, giving people even more choice.

Torquay Utd's Defender and Club Captain Brian Saah officially cut the ribbon alongside Teignbridge District Council's Executive Spokesman for Communities, Recreation and Leisure Cllr George Gribble.

They were joined by Newton Abbot Bushell Ward Member Cllr Jackie Brodie, Leisure Centre Manager Martin Hough, Leisure Childcare Officer and Dymensions Manager Karen Bush, crèche staff and children.
