THESE are busy times for live music at the Blue Walnut in Chelston.

Tomorrow they welcome Lorraine Bowen and Clive PiG. The former has worked with Billy Bragg on stage and on record and appeared on John Shuttleworth's show Radio Shuttleworth.

On Saturday the stage belongs to James Hickman and Dan Cassidy (pictured above), a transatlantic duo inspired by the traditions of America and Britain.

Their sound flows from the connection between British and American folk and is bursting with humour, heartbreak and excitement.
