Tunney's ton helps end the Con Club's unbeaten record
ALAN Tunney put away the first century break of the season in the RGB Premier Division to put St Anne's on course for a 4-2 win over previously unbeaten St Marychurch Con Club E.
Tunney, who has been plagued by injury problems this season, also dropped a break of 47 and Jason Whittaker added one of 51 as St Anne's registered their third win of the campaign.
Leaders Riley's A maintained their three-point advantage over the chasing pack as Andy Neck scored breaks of 57 and 68, as they drew with bottom of the table St Marychurch Conservative A.
Paignton Club moved up to second to beat sixth placed Preston Cue G 4-2 despite losing the first frame on the black. Lee McArthur junior scored a break of 50, to increase his lead at the top of the Breakmasters.

Dave Mucklow scored an impressive break of 38, in the fourth frame of sixth-placed Preston Cue A's 5-1 win over St Anne's E. Brian Milden won the last frame to prevent the whitewash.
At the bottom of the table, ninth-placed Brixham Conservative A recorded their first win of the season, coming from 2-0 down to beat fellow strugglers Upton Social A.
St Anne's Q slipped to fifth in the table as they had a free week.
DIVISION ONE
PRESTON Conservative A go into the New Year four points clear of their nearest rivals they beat third-placed Torre Conservative A 4-2, for whom Dave Boustead and Jason Matthews won the final two frames to keep the score respectable.
Ben Pitts scored a break of 32 and Mark Hamlet one of 28, as Torquay Squash D moved up to second as they beat St Anne's B 4-2.
St Anne's D (5th) came from behind to record their third draw of the season, as they drew 3-3 with sixth placed Brixham Conservative C who have also drawn three matches.
Teignmouth Royal British Legion A (7th) lost ground on the teams above, despite Sam Northcott's 21 break in the final frame, as they went down 4-2 to Torquay Squash A.
Squash A moved off the bottom of the table and up to ninth place as they recorded their first win of the season, with Charlie Meatheral scoring a break of 23 in the fourth frame.
Torquay Squash C are up to eighth place as they came back from losing the opening frame to beat Hookhills A 4-2 and claim their first win of the season.
Brixham Sea Anglers B hit the bottom of the table after having a free week.
DIVISION TWO
BRIXHAM Sea Anglers A head the table by two points, as they thrashed lowly Preston Cue W 5-0 in an all-change top three.
Kirkham Street B moved up to second place as they beat previous leaders Preston Cue E 4-1, for whom Kas Symonds won the final frame on the black to avoid the whitewash.
Brixham Conservative D slipped to third as they suffered their second defeat of the season, a 3-2 defeat against Mid-Devon Constitutional Club Z, for whom Jamie Pearce scored a break of 25 in the second frame to move to third in the Breakmasters.
Chris Chalk scored a break of 23 in the second frame as Torquay Squash B moved up to fifth place, as they beat Brixham Conservative B 5-0, who are now seventh.
Palace Place B moved up to sixth by beating bottom side Preston Conservative C 4-1, who will be looking to end their losing streak in the New Year.
Shawn Peters scored a break of 22 in the final frame of Totnes Conservative B's 5-0 win over Kirkham Street A, who slipped in to the relegation places after their fifth defeat of the season.
DIVISION THREE
UNBEATEN Torwood Conservative Club moved up to top the as they recovered from losing the opening frame on the black to win four in a row beat seventh placed Roundham B 4-1.
Previous leaders Riley's D slipped to second place, as they suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down 3-2 to third placed Preston Cue C.
Preston Cue B (4th) lost ground on their rivals as they they went down 3-2 to fifth-placed St Marychurch Conservative B, for whom Stewart Reeves scored breaks of 22 and 27 to move to the top of the Breakmasters.
Ellacombe Conservative C's recent run of good form continued as they hammered bottom of the table Preston Cue D 5-0.
Teignmouth RBL B beat eleventh placed Hookhills B 4-1, whom Chris Nuttall won the final frame to avoid the whitewash.
Preston Cue H stay in ninth place as they got over losing the opening frame to beat struggling Royal Torbay Yacht Club A 4-1, who will be looking to end their five game losing streak in the New Year.
