UPDATE: Landslip closes train line between Plymouth and Exeter
UPDATE: Work is ongoing to restore the line between Exeter and Taunton, with engineers estimating they will hand back the track at 4pm tomorrow. There will be limited signalling in operation, which will restrict services to two trains per hour in each direction.

There has been further disruption to the train lines after engineers discovered a mud slip between Teignmouth and Dawlish this afternoon.
The railway line has been closed between Plymouth and Exeter and the line between Exeter and Newton Abbot has been opened with caution.
