UPDATE: Road reopened after two-car crash near Newton Abbot

A back road between Marldon and Ipplepen was blocked this morning after a two-car crash.

Police and an ambulance were called to Bulleigh Elms Cross between Ipplepen and Compton, between Torbay and Newton Abbot, at 8:03am today.

A gold Rover and a Citroen Zara collided leaving the female driver of the Citroen, a woman in her 40s from Paignton, with suspected neck injuries.

Police have no reports of injuries for the driver of the Rover, a man in his 40s from Paignton.
