Summer champions St Anne's F got their season off to a good start as they hit back from 2-1 down to beat Brixham Cons A 4-2.

John Halliwell scored a break of 60, Alan Tunney 53, and Bill Foote 34 in the final frame as St Anne's A drew 3-3 with St Anne's B.

St Marychurch Cons A start their season this week. Teams are reminded that St Anne's F play their home fixtures on a Wednesday.

PAUL HOWARD scored a break of 27 as Torquay Deaf A raced to the top of Division One as they beat Torquay Squash C 5-1.

Vince Chalk scored a break of 33 in the first frame as Central Cons A drew 3-3 with Brixham Sea Anglers A. Newton Cons A came from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 only to lose the last frame as they drew 3-3 with Preston Cons A.

Doug Harris sank a 27 clearance in the final frame as Torquay Squash A came from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with Potc A. St Anne's C came from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 only to lose the last frame to draw 3-3 with St Anne's D.

Preston Cue E start their season this week faced with a six-point deficit – they have been docked points relating to an incident in the final match of the summer season.

MARK PENNEY scored a break of 25 to give Brixham Cons B the perfect start in Division Two.

They thrashed Torquay Squash B 5-0. Second-placed Torquay Squash D lost their first frame and won the next four as they beat Teignmouth BL A 4-1.

John Law scored a break of 24 in the fourth frame as Ellacombe Cons A beat Brixham Cons C 3-2. Kirkham Street A beat Upton SC B 3-2.

Lee Curtis scored breaks of 29 and 22 and Mike Northway made a 22 clearance as Paignton Cons A won 3-2 against Newton Cons Z, who came from 2-0 down only to lose the last frame.

In the division's other game, Palace Place B beat St Anne's E 3-2.

PRESTON CONS B started their Division Three season off by thrashing Royal Torbay Yacht Club 5-0, and they are joined at the top by Torwood Cons A, who hammered Teignmouth BL B 5-0.

Ellacombe Cons C are in third place after they beat new team Preston Cue RGB 4-1. Brixham BL A are in fourth place as they beat another new team Preston Cue H 3-2.

Ken Lee scored a break of 30 in the third frame for Hookhills B but could not stop his side losing to Riley's D who came from 2-1 down to win 3-2, while Malcolm Carter scored a break of 29 in the first frame to set Roundham B on their winning ways as they beat St Marychurch Cons B 3-2.

Preston Cue H play their home fixtures on a Wednesday in this division.
