FOLLOWING the triumph of their sold-out launch gig, the Black Bird Collective return to the Barrel House in Totnes for another must-see night of live music with Matthew and Me and Lux Harmonium on Friday, February 17.

After finding each other as music students at Dartington College of Arts, the last couple of years have seen Matthew and Me (pictured) do a variety of shows around the country.

From the Great Hall to the bijou chapel, with frequent appearances on the South West festival circuit, and a performance on the BBC Two programme Towns.

The band's limited edition Matthew and Me EP is an original blend of acoustic, indie pop with liquid vocal harmonies from Matthew Board and Grace Billings.

Their debut album has been recorded at Sawmills Studio in Cornwall with noted producer Tom Joyce for release later in the year.

Support comes from 'English countryside blues' players Lux Harmonium, whose most recent single was recently played on Jarvis Cocker's Sunday Service show on BBC Radio 6 Music. Doors open at 8pm.
