All you will have to do is nominate your community group and tell us why it is more deserving than the rest.

Then our panel will create a shortlist which will go out to a public vote by collecting tokens for your favourite cause in the Herald Express.

Tracy said: "We are keen to see nominations that demonstrate the spirit of Devon people and how they come together as a group for the wider benefit in their local community.

"You may be a brass band with a diverse age range that plays for pleasure at local community events, or a sports group who provide after school activities to help young people keep fit and active or maybe a volunteer conservation group who keep our footpaths clear for everyone to enjoy all year round.

"The list is endless and you know better than anyone what activities go on in your neighbourhood, week in and week out, that creates a sense of community spirit, provides an environment that helps our young and elderly develop hidden talents in safe surroundings."

Community groups can walk away with up to £2,000 per group and the minimum amount will be £450.

Don't miss the launch of Cash for Your Community in next week's Herald Express when we will detail exactly what you have to do.
