Now West End star is his Fair Lady
WEST End star Alexandra Jay took the spotlight when she married her leading man.
Alex, from Newton Abbot, married Robert Greenwood, a manager of Basingstoke bed shop Dreams after a three and a half-year romance.

Friends and family enjoyed a at a beautiful ceremony at Holne Park House in Ashburton.
Alex, 26, who played the lead role in the West End's My Fair Lady and Mamma Mia for more than six years, took centre-stage wearing a beautiful ivory silk gown.
The venue was bedecked in an abundance of floral displays for the occasion and after the wedding breakfast, the guests enjoyed a hog roast and dancing.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Cuba before returning to their home in Southampton.
Alex, who started her stage career at Babbacombe Theatre in Torquay, is currently teaching dance and performing arts in her newly-established dance school Dance Scene in Southampton.
Alex has turned her back on the stage after six and half years at the West End, performing eight times a week.
She said: "I was constantly working and really felt I needed to have a break. I always intended to go back but never did.
"Now I am enjoying having a normal life for a change."
The couple met through Alex's older brother.
He proposed during a romantic holiday in Fuerte Ventura.
Alex was thrilled with her big day.
"One of the things which overwhelmed me was how much support we were given by everybody.
"It was wonderful to see everyone really enjoying themselves."
The bride was attended by three bridesmaids and the groom selected a best lady to assist him — his sister Donna McGivern.
Mum of the bride Pauline Mason, who owns Newton Abbot's Dance Works said: "The day was fantastic and Alex looked so beautiful.
"It is so lovely to see the couple so happy together."
