Winter website drive
MORE than 50 local businesses have 'signed up' to take part in the ERTC's first designated winter marketing campaign, which is being launched to encourage more visitors to visit the English Riviera in the quieter months.
This is part of the continued delivery of the adopted Turning the Tide for Tourism in Torbay strategy being led by the ERTC.
A new Winter Escapes micro website is to be launched at the end of July, advertising accommodation, attractions as well as food and drink special offers to encourage people to choose the English Riviera.
"Late deals and out of season offers are now routinely expected by prospective visitors and if we don't respond to market forces the English Riviera could miss out," said Carolyn Custerson, chief executive of the ERTC.
