Woman injured, horse killed in Telegraph Hill crash
FIREFIGHTERS were called after a car struck a horse and crashed on the A380 at Telegraph Hill last night.
The accident happened at 9pm on the main Exeter-Newton Abbot road. The horse was killed as a result of the crash. The woman driver of the Peugeot saloon car was injured.

Two fire crews from Exeter were sent to the scene.
A spokesman said several horses were in the road and were being looked after by police, whilst the casualties were being cared for by paramedics.

There were more reports this morning of horses running free on the A379 near Teignmouth.
Police confirmed that there had been six horses in the road at the time of the incident last night.
A spokesman Tweeted: "We have dealt with numerous reports of horses having broken out over the month. Can have terrible consequences. Pls Check & repair hedges."
