Woman's drink-drive charge after collision with police car
A WOMAN from Bromley, Kent, has been charged with being almost three times over the drink drive limit after her car was alleged to have been in collision with a police vehicle.
The incident happened at around 2.30am on Sunday when the woman, named by police as 20-year-old Maya Gregory, was driving a Vauxhall Corsa with a frozen windscreen the wrong way in Quay Road, Teignmouth.
Police say she collided head on with the police car.
A statement released said: "She got out of the vehicle and was spoken to by officers who requested a breath test. This she failed at the roadside and she also failed a second sample at the police station.

"She was detained before being charged and bailed to appear before south and west Devon magistrates on December 18."
The Vauxhall is said to have collided head on with the police car.
No one was injured as a result of the collision.
