Work begins on £9m Paignton eco-home estate
A nine million pound eco- friendly redevelopment has begun in Devon.
The scheme plans to replace derelict post-war properties in Paignton with 82 new energy efficient homes, built using timber frame construction and using air source heat pumps for central heating.
The builders contracted have pledged to use local employees, local suppliers and to provide opportunities for apprentices and training.
The development will also provide more affordable homes in the Torbay area.
