DARTMOUTH have a tough task on their hands, if they are to progress to the next round of the FA Vase, as they take on St Blazey at Blaise Park tomorrow just 14 days after they were beaten 4-1 in the Premier Division, writes Mike Sampson.

Blazey are FA Vase specialists and have reached the latter stages of the prestigious national competition, which has its final at Wembley, on several occasions in the past.

"If we had put our chances away in the first game at Blazey then we could have come away with at least a 4-4 draw which should be a lesson for us ahead of this game," warned Darts manager Lance Worthington.

Worthington is hoping that the experience of defender Kevin Causley will be available for the first time this season as his injured knee has finally responded to treatment.

He will also be giving a debut to goalkeeper Lewis Stainer, who has been playing in the Yeovil area for Castle Cary, and he replaces the injury Nathan Murphy who is likely to be out of action for another month with a dislocated collar bone.

"Nathan had further treatment on Tuesday and is still some way from being fit so it is good for us that Lewis is willing to travel for our matches," explained Worthington.

"I have impressed on the lads not to be downbeat as we are playing well enough and things will turn around sooner rather than later if they can maintain their belief in themselves," concluded Worthington.
