WRANGATON will defend a 4-1 lead in the home leg of their Emerton Court clash with Dartmouth on April 1.

Wins for Tony Dardis and Peter Barraud (2&1), Alan Smith and Tony Dart (1up), Maurice Mercy and Roger Cockings (2&1) and Peter Swift and Dave Trevarthen (1up) have put the veterans' side in a commanding position.

The only blip came with a 1down loss for Derek Cornish and Ian Mayne.

In the club's March stableford, Matt Morgan won Division One with 37 points on countback from Lee Bowden. Tommy Ryder was a point behind in third.

Gary Parker's 35 points won Division Two from David Rogers (34) and Mark Andrews (33).

Lee Kirk topped Division Three with 37 points, beating Steve Meara (36) and Chris Reilly (35).
