A TOUR of the wrecks out of Dartmouth finally produced pollock for anglers fishing from Owen Mallia's boat Outlaw.

There were slim pickings at the first handful of wreck sites visited, possibly due to the stiff south-easterly?

Finally at wreck number six fish came up on ever drift for the rest of the day.

Max Bingle from Paignton had a bumper day winding up with six plump pollock for his efforts.

Bingle was very skilful at catching fish and would have had a higher total had managed to land another four fish that shook the hook before he managed to get them to the surface.

Bingle tried Sidewinder lures, Tsunami lures and the new Savage eels to excellent effect.

Dave Stead from Dawlish had plenty of action and also wound up with a few nice Pollock.

Dave Dinsborrow from Teignmouth plodded away all day, winding up fish quietly at the stern of the boat.

Among the Pollock was a lovely bass of 6lbs 1oz, caught on a new white Tsunami Sandeel Lure.

Mallia and pal Glenn Law had a day out reconnoitring wreck sites for future visits and took the opportunity to test fish them.

Along with many 12-15lb fish towards the end of the day, Law managed to hook himself a super 19lb 8oz winter pollock using a white Tsunami lure.
