Yeovil Town boss keen to swell the ranks as injuries begin to mount
Yeovil Town would like to add two further new faces to bolster a squad increasingly hit by injuries and suspension.
The Glovers welcomed back Byron Webster following suspension for last Saturday's 3-2 npower League One defeat at Tranmere Rovers, but will be without Bristol City loanee Joe Edwards for tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash against Torquay United after his weekend dismissal.
Left-back Nathan Ralph requires surgery to remove a cyst on his knee, while Luke Ayling (hip) is a doubt for the Devon trip after missing the match-day line-up at Prenton Park.
Right-sided Lewis Young (ankle) will miss at least a month and striker Gozie Ugwu (hamstring) is receiving treatment at parent club Reading.

Manager Gary Johnson said: "I'm always considering bringing in loan signings as that's the only way to improve your squad at this time. You can't bring any contracted players in until January, so we're keeping an eye out on that.
"We don't think that Luke will be too long, and we've had Gavin [Williams] on the bench, so hopefully he will get fitter and fitter every week. We'll have a look at it, but at the moment we've got the numbers. One or two would be nice, but it's got to be the right one or two."
Assistant manager Terry Skiverton said Edwards would have to learn from his first senior red card during the defeat at Tranmere.
"We were disappointed with the goal that came before that because I think he has allowed him inside to get a shot off and they have a free man in the box," he said.
"There's lots we have spoken about but we will have our review session and we will make sure that these things don't persistently happen."
The former boss also backed Johnson to make the right move in the loan market if needed, while remaining coy about potential dealings.
Skiverton said: "He [Johnson] is somebody that definitely has his finger on the pulse and has been looking out there to make sure that we are adding to the squad.
"If one comes in, as assistant manager I would quite like to coach that new person. But it will be up to the gaffer. I think we will have to wait and see."
As for Ayling's chances of making the squad at Plainmoor this evening, Skiverton added: "Luke did a little bit of light work [in training] and you never know, maybe."
