Youth in court on Buckfastleigh robbery charge
A 17-YEAR-OLD youth was due to appear before magistrates in Exeter today charged with robbery after an incident in Buckfastleigh on Monday evening.
Police said the youth had been remanded in custody pending the court appearance.

A 16-year-old was released on police bail until October 11 pending further enquiries.
The incident occurred around 6.30pm on Monday at Dial Motors in Station Road, Buckfastleigh.

Police said two young men entered the premises armed with a knife and an iron bar and threatened the assistant with violence before stealing a quantity of cash from the till.
The female assistant was not injured as a result of the incident but was naturally very shaken.
