Zoo golf day 'great chance to play and network with potential clients'
BUSINESSES will be teeing off for charity in South Devon.
Paignton Zoo's annual fundraising event takes place at Bovey Castle on Thursday, September 20.

GOLF DAY: Tony Stokes, of South West Zoo Enterprises Ltd, and Chris Pyne of Paignton Zoo Environmental Park — both keen golfers — get ready for the charity golf day
Pippa Craddock, zoo director of marketing and development, said: "It's mainly business people who come along — they see it as a great chance to play golf on an amazing course and to network with potential clients."
Both Devon businesses and the local branches of national companies attend.

"Some companies enter more than one team, so then there is internal rivalry."
The current champions are Hunts Food Services, who are defending their title.
With food and refreshments included, the Paignton Zoo charity golf day is a more economic way to play the Bovey Castle course.
Over the years the event has raised more than £30,000 for conservation projects both within the zoo and abroad.
It costs £130 per team of two or £120 for Paignton Zoo SOS Club members.
Sponsorship packages are available from £100.
