ORGANISERS of the 2013 Chagstock Festival, which takes place on July 19 and 20, have announced their first acts.

Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman, Wille and The Bandits, Marc O'reilly, Brother and Bones, Ferocious Dog, the Aurora Skies, Crazy Arm and New Crisis are the first acts to sign up for the festival on the regular Whiddon Down stage. Headliners are still to be announced.

As introduced last year in recognition of the tough economic climate for families, all children under 12 can attend for free (ticket is required).

Chagstock's capacity is once again capped at just 5,000 tickets to ensure its intimate, family-friendly atmosphere is maintained.
