Two arrested after stabbing
A 42-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed in the left foot during a disturbance at a flat in the Torre area of Torquay.
The victim, who has not been named, became involved in a verbal dispute with two other men on Friday afternoon.
A police spokesman said the casualty was stabbed in the foot with a chisel, 'causing an injury to his toe'.
Two men, aged 28 and 29 and both from Torquay, were arrested on suspicion of assault and interviewed in the resort's police station.

The two suspects were later released on police bail until August 14.
