It is usually a single glazed product ( double glazed available for some specialist applications) with the glass panes secured by compression gaskets into extruded aluminium framing sections.

Once fitted, Secondary Double Glazing has been created - it is a misconception that Secondary Glazing itself is Double Glazed.
