Last chance to grab tickets for race night
WE don't know about you, but January flew by at Palm 105.5fm and we can't believe we're already into the second month of 2012.
Tickets for our charity video race night are selling quickly, and, with just 71 left, you'll have to be quick if you don't want to miss out on the fun.
The evening will be taking place on Saturday, March 3, at Brixham Cricket Club and a ticket will cost you just £5 with all proceeds going to the Everyman male cancer charity.
There will be the usual Palm fun on the night and a buffet too!
Tickets are available from the Palm Studio on Lymington Road, or we can pop them in the post to you.
Log on to www.palm.fm for all the details or call 01803 321055 and one of our team will be happy to help you.
We have been overwhelmed with the response to our Arctic Challenge launch last week.
Hundreds of South Devon residents have registered their interest in the event and we will reveal the 14 local people who will be joining Jennie and Colin on the adventure of a lifetime in the next few weeks.
If you want to find out more or would like to support Jennie or Colin, we have all the details online and a Just Giving page too — www.palm.fm
While we are on the subject of charities, we also have the 2012 Palm charity wristbands on sale at the Palm studio in Torquay.
For just £1 you can own one and feel good about it too as all of the proceeds are going to support local charity Rowcroft Hospice!
Thank you for your support.
February competitions are all in place and we have some fantastic prizes up for grabs in the next few weeks!
You could win tickets to the Blues Brother event at Hennessey in Torquay, fish and chips for four each day during our drivetime show courtesy of Plainmoor-based fish and chip shop The Usual Plaice and, to help with ever rising fuel costs, we'll even be giving you the chance to win free fuel courtesy of Vospers in Torquay.
You've got to be in it to win it, as they say, so make sure you stay tuned to Palm 105.5fm
We've also teamed up with Fermoy's in Newton Abbot this month to give you the chance to plant your very own spring seeds and have a go at growing in 2012.
We'll reveal all soon so make sure you get involved and join the Palm team in store in a few weeks' time.
Next week we're going to reveal our plans for the Jubilee, Euro 2012 and we will be announcing the date of the Palm Party on the Green 2012.
See you soon.
