Among the attractions was a concert by the Torquay Symphony Orchestra, beer and wine festival, family fun day and an under-16s talent contest organised by the scouts.

Steve Michaels, group scout leader for 1st Kingskerswell Scouts and entertainment organiser for the fun day, said: "It was another example of true community spirit being alive and well in Kingskerswell."
