Fire at derelict club in Kingsteignton

Fire crews have been tackling a blaze this afternoon at a derelict club in Kingsteignton.

They were called to Homers Lane at 2pm following reports of a fire in an empty property.

On arrival they discovered a small fire within the 7m x 4m club, which was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by police and Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service.
