“I don't see too much bias in the reporting of local politics - in fact I see little reporting at all.
Since the first-class journalist editor Hanrahan was moved out for being too outspoken and running popular campains (jolly rants) against the pathetic management of Torbay the paper has been about as interesting as watching paint dry.
We get some good comment from Asst. Editor Jim Parker but that's about all.
Torbay is stuck with an expensive and lack-lustre mayor - one can only wonder what Mr Hanrahan's thoughts are of this turn of events? - who chooses not to voice his thoughts or plans (lack of) through our only local medium worth considering. Absolutely no chance of the hopeless man appearing in front of a TV camera of course.
Just wish Jim Parker would take over or at least get a new editor with a bit of sparkle.”

“The HEarld Express were very biased in the campaign for the Kingkerswell bypass. THey supported it and made out as if all locals did too. My parents and I do not support it and I know plent of other locals who don't. THey shoudl not have been doing that, but giving both sides of the argument”

“Just look at the BBC. If you are a 'one world leftist multi national liberal' then you are in, if not you are constantly ridiculed. AND we pay for them.”
