Top three divided by 10 seconds
JUST ten seconds separated South Devon Athletic Club's leading duo in the Ivybridge 10k at the weekend.
Colin Peters was the first SDAC man across the line, finishing the fast course in 38th position in 38m 14s. Jeremy Hocking was next, finishing 43rd in 38m 24s, followed by Rob Leeke, who was 49th in 38m 58s, and Simon Johnson, 55th in 39m 37s.
Stacey Toppin was the club's first lady in 45m 08s for 159th position.
Other club finishers were Roger Webb 49.07 268th; Rachel Williams 52.51 376th; Lisa Jeffery 56.10 468th; Andrew Hammett 1.14.05 669th and Leonora Richards 1.17.10 675th.

There were 679 finishers.
At Sunday's Bideford 10km, SDAC's Frank Reay nipped inside 40 minutes to finish 37th out of 520 finishers and win the prize for third vet 50.
Ken House finished in 59.11 and was 359th out of 520 finishers. He was also third vet 75.
