So Strong Josh sings his way into UK final

SOUTH Devon singer Josh Bidder has made it through to the final of a national talent competition.

The home grown Torbay's Got Talent finalist headed off to the Carrington Hotel in Bournemouth last weekend for the South of England heats of the 'Festival 4 Stars' competition and took them by storm.

Dad Jeffery explained: "He took part in the under 14s solo singing section. There were 36 entries. Initially there were three judges and each contestant had two minutes.

Josh sang So Strong and got through to the final four.

"Each person then had three minutes to perform in front of seven judges and a live audience.

"Josh won and had some very pleasing comments from the judges."

He will now be going to the UK final to be held in Glasgow on November 15.

Mr Bidder added: "We'd like to say well done to Josh from all his family and a special thank you to his nan and Joan who are his biggest supporters and who took him to Bournemouth."
