X marks the spot for Jedward fan
Thomas Pataki's sixteen year-old step-son David Williams bet him that he couldn't find the X Factor house, so he took up the challenge.
Not only did Thomas find the house of budding stars but X Factor fan David got close enough to photograph the controversial singing twins, John and Edward Grimes.
"I drove to London with David and found the house last Thursday," said Thomas.
"The whole day was mad.
"There were paparazzi parked all around the outside of the house."
He said Jedward left the property in their people carrier and went round the corner to buy some sweets.
"I followed them thinking they were going somewhere special, I'd been told earlier by one of the paps they were going to the O2 arena for rehearsals, but they just went round the corner to the shop.
"David went to the window with his mobile phone and took some shots.
"He found the whole experience unbelievable — the best two hours he had ever had in his life. Just to see them in the streets and to follow them round the corner, he will remember forever."
Thomas said they spotted a number of the other talent contest singers leaving the house but the rest of them just 'dashed off' in their cars.
"It was only the twins that left their vehicle," he added.
After ratings winners Jedward landed in the bottom two of the hit TV show on Sunday, Simon Cowell sparked outrage letting the public decide who would be eliminated. He had previously blasted the pair and said he would leave the country if they won.
Thomas waded into the public speculation about Simon's reasons for keeping the pair saying: "There is something funny going on there.
"The twins keep people tuning in and it is all about the viewing figures.
"It is their badness that makes them good."
David, 16, from King Alfred School, said jostling with 40 screaming fans and a dozen paparazzi was 'just crazy'.
He added; "I just stood there and I took a couple of snaps on my mobile phone. It was interesting experience. Once in a lifetime."
