On Sunday 18th November 2012 11am, there will be a sponsored 5k buggy push in Torquay. We are fundraising for the charity Bliss. This charity helps families of premature and sick babies.

We will be meeting at 11am at the Abbey Park Gardens next to the old Hi-Flyer spot.

The funds raised will go towards a targeted £35,000 which will provide telephone support for over 2000 families, fund 40 family support groups for a year, train 8 neonatal nurses in developmental care, fund a campaign to recruit more specialist nurses for the most vulnerable babies and pay for the Family Support Helpline for over 2 months. It will also help to research innovative techniques and treatments and campaign for the changes needed to ensure doctors and nurses to have the best resources available to care for babies regardless of where r when they are born.
