We have had to postpone the picnic because of the weather. Preston Green is waterlogged and we aren't allowed to have any cars drive on! Which means no stalls, no bouncy castle, etc. So we thought we'd hope for an Indian Summer and try again on the 23rd of September. See you then!

Preston Community Partnership Invites You To The Preston Picnic 2012!

Preston Seafront, 10am - 6pm

All are welcome at The Preston Picnic 2012! Now in it's fourth year this community event on Preston Green is very popular with local and visitors alike!

It's a great day out for all the family with free entertainment for the kids (bouncy castle, Cosmo the Clown, games & fun!) and excellent music by local bands.

Here's the lineup of entertainment for the day:
10am: The Wren Folk Orchestra 10.45am: Lisa Winwood 11.15am: Serpent's Kiss 12pm: Preston Primary Choir 12.30.pm: Rage 1.30pm: Buckingham Dance Studio & Preston Primary Dance Club 2.00pm: The Risk 3.00pm: Zumba for everyone 3.15pm: The Quincies 4.15pm: Raffle prizes & Thanks 4.45pm: Stone Angels

Don't worry if you get hungry: we've organised excellent high quality food stalls serving delicious food. You can choose from: Spanish Chorizo, Caribbean, Vegetarian Deli, Thai, Pizza, Donuts, Baked Potatoes, Hog Roast, Burgers & Hot Dogs, Bacon Baps & Chips, and of course excellent home baked cake stalls!

There'll be approx. 40 craft stalls, everything that's sold has to be home made in Preston! You'll be amazed at the quality of the products. There's jewellery, cards, ceramics, bags, interior furnishings... and much, much more.

Join us from 10am - 6pm and have a great time!
