Hendriksen honed his skills as an amateur at the Brixham course, before going on to take a professional position at Fingle Glen.
But this week the 29-year-old has returned to his roots, registering his attachment with Churston as the club's playing pro.
His first outing for his new club will be during the county's seven-day visit to Portugal, which incorporates five rounds of golf over three courses.
Hendriksen said: "I've recently moved back to the area and have been playing a lot at Churston again, and now I'm delighted to have registered my attachment with them as a playing pro.
"I've been getting in a lot of practice here lately, ahead of the next round of the EPD Tour."
Hendriksen is currently lying fifth in the European Professional Development Tour Order of Merit, and will travel to Switzerland later this month for the Sempachersee Classic.
If he is still in the top five at the end of the tour in October, Hendriksen will be guaranteed a place on the 2010 Challenge Tour.
