Cherryaid Patient and Carer Support Group, based at the centre in Hookhills Road, Broadsands Park, Paignton, raised funds through coffee mornings, flower arranging demonstrations, raffles and book sales.
GP Dr David Williams said: "We are delighted to receive this help to refurbish the treatment room which is used for minor surgery, nursing procedures and as a resuscitation room for emergencies.
"The room had not been upgraded since the surgery was built in 1985. This donation has enabled us to replace the flooring, cupboards and worktops and for the room to be redecorated.
"Thank you to the volunteers for working so hard to raise funds and also for providing transport and befriending services to our patients and their carers."
A Christmas coffee and mince pies morning will be held at the surgery on December 6 at 10.30am. There will be a flower arranging demonstration called Funky Christmas with the arrangements being raffled for charity.
