Fire-hit Brixham newsagent aims for spring return
THE owners of a popular Brixham newsagents which burnt down in the spring are hoping to move back next September.
Peter Kenneby, his partner Julia Aconley and their children are biding their time while a planning application goes through the administration system.

The family lost everything when a fire engulfed Harbour News on Fore Street and destroyed their home and place of work.
The couple have been fighting with every administration and utility company ever since to have passports re-issued and to stop gas bills coming in when they no longer live there.

Mrs Aconley said: "We do intend to come back and start again but at the moment we're having to wait. It seems to be taking so much time."
Mrs Aconley added: "Every month we keep receiving a gas bill even though we don't live there any more and there is no meter.
"In September, they told us that we've used more gas than last year. How they managed that I don't know but we had to ask them to send someone to see for themselves that there is nothing left. They just didn't believe us."
The family, who have been in Brixham for 22 years and have run Harbour News in Fore Street for almost 11, are renting a house in another part of town.
The building was gutted and made safe this summer ready for the reconstruction work to start.
Mrs Aconley said she expected planning consent to be approved in January with construction starting soon after.
She added: "I don't like walking past it. I try to avoid doing that. It just brings back bad memories."
