“ We popped into Bar 7 at the Seven Stars at lunchtime on a very busy weekday (the Orange Races were on) and found the very efficient staff coping manfully with the extra influx of business. Obviously their lunches are popular, as there was a 20-minute wait for food, but an orderly orders system was in place, and this was politely explained to customers wanting to eat. We were impressed by their determination that quality would not be sacrificed for speed, and although not eating ourselves, we felt we would like to return and try the food. Our drinks were fine, the seating comfortable, and the decor pleasant. Clearly the inn itself is very historic, and the quick look we took around the building has intrigued us enough to bring us back for another visit. ”

“No worries, we’re happy - The Royal Seven Stars gave us this feeling from the moment we entered. Top notch place located in the heart of Totnes with an excellent bar and restaurant area.”
