Festival mixes urban sports and music
The three-day action sports and music festival will see scores of professional and amateur skaters, bikers and riders converge on the South West to take to the ramps.
The National Adventure Sport Show is now in its 12th year and this event continues to get bigger and better also attracting an impressive music line-up this July with hip hop stars N.E.R.D. headlining.
The weekend festival at Bath and West Showground starts on Friday, July 10 and is not just about the music — this is somewhere you can see the professionals and amateurs show off their skating, BMXing and biking skills.
It is a weekend packed full of stunts and adrenaline rushes with a dose of great sounds for good measure.
There are skate, street, dirt and freestyle demonstations and competitions.
And you don't have to be on wheels to amaze audiences as free running/parkour specialists Team Invision prove.
The UK parkour specialists are returning to the event with some new tricks.
Watching this spectacle you will not believe what their bodies are capable of. It's mind boggling to think they pull off the moves they do with out a board, bike or motor of some sort.
Relentless NASS will also be home to the British BMX Dirt Championships this year.
There has not been a British Champs for some years and once again the title will be up for grabs.
Making a debut this year will be roller derby where two teams made up from the warring roller derby tribes across the UK battle it out. This expo game will showcase some of the best roller girls in the UK as two opposing teams, each consisting of 14 players take part in something similar to ice hockey but on skates.
There is also amazing free style motor cross, graffiti artists and more.
Alongside American funksters N.E.R.D. will be drum and bass breakbeat duo Chase and Status playing one of only a handful of completely live shows this year. And UK rapper Lethal Bizzle also supports. This high-paced energetic live performer has been embraced by the indie and rock scene working with the likes of Babyshambles.
The night will also see MOBO nominated Tinchy Styder take to the stage.
For drum and bass fans there will be plenty to lap up this year with High Contrast, winner of Best Liquid DJ at the recent Drum and Bass Awards, Shy FX and Sub Focus.
Saturday night's musical offering is headlined by rockers CKY (Camp Kill Yourself) returning to the UK for the first time in four years. They and more will take to the main stage along with Radio One's Zane Lowe while the Scratch Perverts and Freestylers among others liven up the indoor arena.
