Couple go underground for big day

A TORQUAY couple have become the first to hold a big wedding in Kents Cavern.

Gillian Woodland and Alan Duckworth tied the knot at the attraction on Saturday.

Speaking after the ceremony Gillian, said: "It was amazing, fantastic. I had a great day. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

"We chose to get married in Kents Cavern because the candlelit caves were a fantastic backdrop, they are so romantic and lovely."

She added: "The staff at Kents Cavern were fantastic and organised everything for us."

The happy couple are heading to Bath for a few days for their honeymoon.
