Police called to late night fight outside pub

POLICE and ambulance were called to a fight outside a Torquay pub on Saturday night.

Police received reports two men were fighting outside Molloys in Fore Street, St Marychurch at 11.30pm.

Four patrol cars and an ambulance were sent to the scene, but the incident was not serious and nobody was arrested.

The police said they did not have any record of any injuries.

A police spokesman said: "Police attended a disturbance outside Molloys and spoke to two people.

"Neither needed police assistance.

"Ambulance were advised of the incident."

The pub said they did not know what had happened.

"We don't know anything. I think it was after we had closed," said a member of staff.
