Police presence to remain on area's streets

The Bay's Nighttime Economy Team has patrolled Plainmoor for four nights, including the weekends, to keep a check on any anti-social activities.
Bay police inspector Jon Perry said the team of five officers with a sergeant in charge worked the area from Thursday to Sunday until 2am.
He added: "We have stopped everything that moves and checked it."
He said at least a dozen people have been spoken to about their activities.
The patrols are to continue for the next few weeks.
Insp Perry explained: "The Nighttime Economy Team have been so successful in their work they are no longer needed as they were on Torquay harbourside.
"They are now free to do other work in the areas at night.
"We have worked in Babbacombe and St Marychurch during the summer and we felt it was time to turn our attention to Plainmoor because of the anti-social behaviour problems there.
"There has been talk that this area has become a 'no go area' and we need to demonstrate there is no such thing."
The sweep follows the issuing of four interim anti-social behaviour orders against four teenagers.
The last of the interim Asbos was issued yesterday against 18-year-old Ben Brammall. Orders have also been issued against Joshua Garrett, Daniel Whitehead and Dean Isaac, banning all four from the area.
The prohibitions also include a curfew, a curb on 'abusive' and 'threatening' behaviour and a ban from wearing hooded tops.
The group of teenagers are also not allowed in public together or to associate with a list of people who have allegedly fallen victim to their 'aggressive' behaviour.
