Two critically ill after A380 crash

TWO people are critically ill in hospital after a crash in South Devon.

The accident on the A380 at Kingskerswell closed the road for nearly eight hours while emergency services worked to free people then piece together what had occurred.

Police say a man and a woman in their late teens or early 20s from the Bay were cut from a silver Ford after the accident happened at 6.40am.

They are said to still be very unwell and the woman is facing life changing injuries as a result of the crash.

Another motorist travelling in a silver Mazda also had to be cut free from his car and was left with neck and back injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to get in touch.
