£150,000 will help hall create 120 jobs with business park
THE Dartington Hall Estate is to receive £150,000 to redevelop an old yard into a modern, rural business park.
Dartington will use the cash to redevelop its Webber's Yard into a modern rural business park and create up to 120 jobs.
Jo Talling, property director for the Dartington Hall Estate, said: "The master plan for the potential development of rural workspace and housing at Webber's Yard, Higher Tweed Mill and part of Sawmills Field has been submitted to South Hams Council and now this funding has been announced the scheme, which potentially could create up to 120 jobs, is one step closer.
"Once developed this could be a fantastic boost to the local area, particularly in these difficult times.
