Have your say on town's BID
MEMBERS of the business improvement district in Paignton will have a chance to quiz those who run it at their second meeting since its inception.
Matthew Clarke, chairman of the Paignton BID, said: "It is vitally important everyone who pays towards the BID in our town attends this meeting to hear how their money has been spent and also to hear about the exciting plans for the coming months.
"The meeting will also give everyone the opportunity to air their views and also come up with suggestions on how we can improve Paignton as a shopping and business destination."
The meeting will take place next Thursday, October 18, at The Palace Theatre at 6pm.

“I dont understand why the Paignton BID is having there 2nd members meeting, when the members of the Torquay BID which has been running at least 2 years longer has yet to have one. We have been asking for a meeting for at least 2 years and I truly believe the managers of the Torquay BID should hold there heads in shame. I know of not one member who thinks this scheme is anything but a waste of money in its current form. You think I am cheesed off ( I voted for the BID) you can imagine what the shopkeepers who voted NO think about paying money each month for nothing.”
