No sign of body as quarry searched in murder probe
POLICE have still not found the body of suspected murder victim Stephen Price despite two days of diving in a flooded quarry near Totnes.
But more searches may still take place at the remote, sheer-sided quarry at Diptford.

Detectives have never explained why they have pinpointed the remote spot in the hunt for Mr Price's body.
But they spent at least two days last month surveying the 60 foot deep pool of water at the bottom of quarry and have spent the last two days sending in divers.
The expensive police operation has involved bringing in a crane to lower divers and their equipment down 250 feet to get to the man made lake.
As of yesterday evening nothing had been found in the searches.
Det Supt Steve Carey, who is in charge of the investigation, said last night: "The searches have concluded for today. The officers have faced extremely difficult conditions in the quarry and we are now evaluating the potential for further searches.
"At this stage we have not found anything significant relating to the investigation."
The quarry has been used as a dumping ground for cars and other rubbish for decades and poses many risks.
Police have reiterated their warning for members of the public to keep away from the area, which is situated on private land. They say the area is extremely dangerous.
A police spokesman said: "The site is located on private land and there is no public right of way to the quarry. It is a particularly treacherous location with sheer rock walls on all sides of the quarry."
The search comes more than a year after Mr Price, 47, vanished from his home in Great Western Close, Paignton.
He disappeared on May 2 last year after a late-night argument over a van parked nearby.
Andrew Lawless, 41, of Bronshill Road, Torquay, has been charged with his murder and will face trial later this year.
