WITH the cooler weather conditions and heavy rainfall during the week the fishing at Town Parks Fishing, Paignton has been very productive.

On Match Lake, local angler Richard Phillips fished peg 6 and took 71lb of Carp and Tench in 4 hours. Richard took his bag on maggot and pellet.

Local junior Ellie Liversage took her first Town Parks Carp weighing in at 4lbs 8oz. Fishing with dad John the pair took a large bag of Carp, Rudd and Roach on corn.

Dave Osmond fished the top lake on consecutive days to take 75lb of Carp and Tench on his first visit and a massive 190lb bag of Carp in 4 hours on his second!

Paignton College students visited the Fishery again and fished under the supervision of venue coach Paul Power. All the students used 4 metre whips and all took fish including Roach, Rudd and Skimmers.

The lower Specimen Lake has produced some fantastic catches.
