Fight Night Clean sweep for Devon trio
Richard Harze (Dawlish) Natalie McColl (Teignmouth) and Tiegan Flay (Newton Abbot) all earned their places at PUMA national selections to take part in the event, which saw men's, women's, girls' and boys' teams from PUMA' pitted against teams from Evolution Martial Arts and the Association for Professional Martial Artists (APTI).
In a fantastic evening of entertainment, their were nail-biting moments as the PUMA teams worked flat out to gain victory in every category, with the three Devon youngsters each winning all of their fights, and PUMA teams winning every division and being named overall winners.
Between divisions, the crowds were entertained by the Flowering Youth Demonstration team, of which Natalie is a member, who performed traditional martial arts in near perfect synchronisation. Also entertaining the crowd was weapons expert Brett Dowling of Exeter, who wowed the audience with his spectacular display of bo staff and nunchuckus skill.
Tiegan, Natalie and Richard all hold international titles for sparring and for patterns, and Natalie is current ITF World Champion, also holding World Champion Team status four times over.
