Peninsula League side keen to recruit linesman

STOKE GABRIEL are keen to appoint an assistant referee (linesman in old terms) for their first team in Division One (East) of the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League.

"We have people who volunteer, but they're not always available," said club chairman, Mike Calf.

"As a result, we're left in a last minute panic to find a replacement.

"We're prepared to pay remuneration to anyone prepared to take on the job on a more permanent basis if they'd like to get in touch."
