First taste of competition for karate kids

KARATE: Students of Stoke Gabriel Kenpo Karate Club took part in a junior championships held by Flaming Fist Kenpo in Exeter.

The results included first places for Jamie Ridge (sparring), Jem Cooper (sparring) and Matthew Wright (forms).

There was also a second place for Finn Cooper (sparring) while Ridge just missing out on a medal position with a fourth place in sparring.

Alfie Yunnie, Ben Yunnie and Jasmine McNally all impressed in competition.
