Their original intention was to present, together with a group of musicians, a programme of the spoken word with musical interludes, to raise money for various charities at Christmas time.
From small beginnings their reputation has grown so that today the group performs throughout the year at many different venues.
Tomorrow there's a chance to see them at Paignton's Palace Theatre.
Time of our Lives is an evening of readings and music presented by Ruth Bettesworth, Richard Clark, Sarah Scoble and Leon Winston.
