A DANCE studio in Totnes is offering free taster sessions in support of the loveLIFE campaign.

To celebrate their opening earlier this year, and as a 'big thank' you to all who have supported them since February, Chapel House Studios are offering a week of classes absolutely free.

Owner Victoria Rogers emphasised that the classes are free until tomorrow, and will be full one-hour classes in a wide range of disciplines.

Victoria said: "We want to give something back to the town and surrounding area. Having enjoyed the Olympics I am sure a lot of people want to get fit. What better way than trying out one of our dance and fitness classes for free and support the loveLIFE campaign?"

More than 40 classes will be on offer for children, teenagers and adults, from pregnancy yoga to Zumba Gold for baby boomers.

Choose from Zumba, pilates, belly dance, adult drama, Feldenkrais, Zumba Gold, tribal belly dance, body rehab, Cheerobics Fitness, Tai Chi, Just Jhoom, street dance, ballet workout, dance 55+, Monkey Music, F.A.M.E, yoga, retro aerobics, ballet, Zumbatomic, teen ballet and teen contemporary and ballroom and Latin.

All these classes, plus free body alignment screening and free reflexology and healing, taster sessions are on offer.

Victoria said: "Dance is a great fun way of getting fit and staying fit. The new Cheerobics Fitness for example is great fun as it is a combination of cheerleading with fitness, using pompoms.

"It's ideal for people who don't like traditional aerobics classes."

Dancers will be encouraged to sign up to the loveLIFE campaign and pledge all their steps for the next year to the cause.

Chapel House Studios are in Station Road Totnes next to the Co-op car park.

All the times and class descriptions are on the web site www.chapelhousestudios.com

The studios have special sprung floors so you can dance bare foot or wear clean (not worn from street) trainers.

No outdoor shoes are allowed in the dance studios.

The free classes are on a first come first served basis. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.
