Hotel Review

We have just returned from a weekend at Langdon Court and it was the best stay I have ever had. The staff were amazing, the food was wonderful and the hotel was lovely. I worried that by booking through Laterooms, we would not get as good a room as we wanted, so rang the hotel direct. They were lovely and even upgraded us to a Premier Room, at no extra cost. Nothing was too much trouble and we will most definately be returning!

    Hotel Review

“I can't rate Langdon Court too highly for their food and hospitality
Yesterday my mother and a family friend went to Langdon Court for lunch while my father was attending hospital in Plymouth.
I'd recommended Langdon Court to them as I'd stayed there a few times in the past, and always enjoyed every aspect of my stay.
They both thoroughly enjoyed a delicious lunch at a very reasonable price, and then took a walk through the pretty grounds and local area.
The hotel management and staff could not have been more accomodating or helpful. It was obviously a stressful day and not helped by my arrival being unavoidably delayed.
My mother asked if it would be ok to wait for me at the hotel and this was no problem at all. She said that the staff and management were great throughout friendly but inobtrusive. When I eventually arrived early evening the chef very kindly rustled us up lovely sandwiches and coffees despite being very busy preparing for a function that was about to begin.
A great example of country house hotel hospitality in a beautiful setting backed up by great people
Thank you very much Langdon Court, you made a difficult day so much better and we will be back for a meal with friends before long.”

    Testimonial from The Lady Taverners

“We were so delighted with our Summer Lunch that I felt I should thank you in writing rather than just on the telephone.
It was wonderful to be able to have drinks in your beautiful garden and very good of you to arrange for Canapés to be served. It was a lovely touch and very much appreciated by everyone. The food at lunch was delicious too and the service perfect.
I've had so much feedback from people saying what a lovely event it was and I really do appreciate all your cooperation.
Thank you so much once again for making it such a successful event for us. I do hope that you will be able to fit us in again in the future.”
